Scope

This workshop will focus on theoretical methodologies, computational algorithms, and applications in the field of many-body interactions (including nuclear and electronic effects). It will address a range of methods including density functional theory, wave-function approaches, and classical force fields (and combinations thereof) for treating the wide range of many-body interactions in molecular systems. The central goal of this workshop is to stimulate and consolidate interdisciplinary interactions and collaborations among young researchers in order to develop methods that will improve computational efficiency and accuracy for a variety of possible applications, from chemistry to biophysics, solid-state physics, and the materials sciences.

TYPE OF CONFERENCE

To facilitate active discussions among all participants we envisage a workshop with approximately 40 participants, who will present an overview over their field and its current challenges. For the invited speakers, the proposed format is that of a Gordon-style presentation arrangement with ample discussion time. All local accommodation costs will be covered for the invited participants.

ORGANIZERS
