Scope of the Workshop
This 3-days workshop covers all topics related to self-organized semiconductor nanostructures, starting from the materials aspect (both experimental studies and simulations of the growth of nanostructures), including the electronic and optical properties of these structures, and their applications in devices.
The purpose is to give an overview of the current status of the field, and to identify future trends, e.g., the growth of magnetic nanostructures, or transport in nanostructured materials.

The number of participants is limited to about 50 persons, and ample time between the session will be left to encourage informal discussions among the participants. No proceedings will be published.
