Lunch on weekdays

Most members of the group usually take their lunch at the Mensa FU II (Otto-v.-Simson-Strasse) on Campus FU (Free University). For vegetarians there is also the Shokudō (FU I, Van't-Hoff-Strasse), canteen with Japanese inspired fusion food as well as a backery Backshop (FU I, Van't-Hoff-Strasse).

The members who prefer to get a free seat without stress meet at about 11.30 a.m., but more members meet at 12:30. The meeting place is in front of the lobby of building T.

Please, join us, so that you get to know us and we get to know you better. At the cafeteria you can get a mealcard (3,- € deposit) at the cash-desk. Paying with the mealcard is more convenient, faster, and CHEAPER than paying cash. The mealcard can be recharged at several machines located in the cafeteria building.

A typical lunch at the cafeteria costs between 3,00 - 7,00 € (2,00 - 5,00 € for students with a valid studentcard). Well, PhD students - here is one more reason to register yourselves at a German university ....
