Travel

The municipality Platja d'Aro belongs to the province of Girona and is in the middle of the Costa Brava in Catalonia, Spain, close to the border with France.

The closest international airports are Girona-Costa Brava airport (35 km) and Barcelona (120 km).

By Car

Good comunications are given from nearly everywhere. When coming from Barcelona take the exit Nº 9 on the motorway A-7. When coming from France you should take the exit Nº 7.

By Air

Daily flights from all international airports to Barcelona (at 120 km). Each 20 min. the Airportbus will drive towards the city centre. Approximately every hour a bus (Sarfa) will leave from the North Station to Platja d´Aro / Sant Feliu de Guíxols, it's a two hour ride. The Girona-Costa Brava airport is connected with bus shuttles that stop in the neighbouring municipalities Calella de Palafrugell and Tossa de Mar.

Transfer There will be two conference busses connecting to the hotel, leaving from Barcelona airport at 13.00 and 18.00 on Sunday, Sept 8th, with a stop at Girona. The bus ride (approx. 2 hours long) from Barcelona airport to Girona takes 1,5 hours, so the stops at Girona will be at 14:30 and 19:30. After the another half hour the busses will reach the hotel. Meeting point for the busses will be communicated closer to the event.

Bus to the airports : at Friday 13th at 11.30 and Saturday 14th at 10.00

By Train

The nearest train station is in Girona (at 30 km.). A taxi from the train station to Platja d´Aro / Sant Feliu costs approximately EUR 46.
