Arriving by plane

Non-Iranian guests are strongly recommended to use Turkish or other airlines for a direct international flight to the Isfahan airport. From this airport, you can easily take a Taxi toward Isfahan University of Technology. Taxis are available all the times with a price of about 300,000 Rial (~ 10 Euro).

Unfortunately, the domestic flights of Iran may not be booked from abroad. Hence, if your international flight arrives at Imam Khomeini international airport in Tehran (capital), then after arrival you have to book a domestic flight toward Isfahan in this airport. The domestic flights are operated in the Mehrabad airport which is about 50km far from the international airport. If you could find a domestic flight to Isfahan, then please take a Taxi toward the Mehrabad airport. A public bus is also operating between International and domestic airports. In the case of finding no domestic flight, then you may take a Taxi toward Arjantin (or Beyhaghi) bus terminal. In this terminal you will find well equipped and chip buses toward Isfahan almost all the time (from early morning to midnight). It is also possible to take direct Taxi from the Imam Khomeini international airport to Isfahan with a price of about 3,000,000 Rial (~ 100 Euro).

Arriving by train

From Main Station

The main train station of Isfahan is about 10km far from the city. From this station, you may take direct Taxi toward Isfahan University of Technology with a price of about 300,000 Rial (~ 10 Euro). There are also public buses operating between the station and down town. From down town, you have to take another bus toward the Jomhouri (جمهوری) square. In this square, you will find the bus stop of the Isfahan university of Technology. The buses are operating from this stop toward the university between about 7.00 AM to 21:00 PM.

Bus terminals

There are two main bus terminals in Isfahan, Kaveh (کاوه) and Soffeh (صفه) terminals. From both terminals, there are public buses toward the Jomhouri (جمهوری) square. In this square, you will find the bus stop of the Isfahan university of Technology. The buses are operating from this stop toward the university between about 7.00 AM to 21:00 PM. The taxis are also available in these terminals all the time. The taxi price from these terminals toward the university is about 200,000 to 300,000 Rial ( ~ 7-10 Euro).
